Come to think of it, no one actually did! These photos were captured by a GoPro whilst strapped to the chest of James Hallam as he raced the Etchells, Rapscallion. James has kindly provided the high res images for me to play with, which has successfully resulted in me purchasing one of these great new toys. The GoPro was programmed to snap an image every 10 seconds. Of course there were a lot that were the same, however here is a collection of my favourites.

The rescheduled format was raced on Waterloo Bay on Sunday 21 November in about 15-18 knots of south easterly breeze. The fleet were getting some great rides with the new Shaw 650 Peow Peow owned by Andrew Triggell winning the regatta after four races.

The first day of racing was abandoned due to the freshening conditions forcing the Race Committee to keep the sailors on shore.

The six race series was rescheduled to five races to be raced on the Sunday, however the breeze had completely vanished forcing yet another change to the schedule. The Queensland Championship was a three race series.

Archaeologists had believed that the iconic stone monument was erected around 2500 BC

It was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. Unfortunately the pilot who took us passed away just four months after this… He died in a plane crash…
